Yes, they make loadsa money for hospitals and charities and the likes They are a complete rip off, that's why.

A tiny pot of salad with cheese - and I mean tiny - £3.49!! A bag of crisps 80p. Even the volunteer assistant was gobmsacked at the price.

I'm sorry, but it's a bloomin rip off and I point blank refuse to pay the prices. I feel so sorry for visitors to the hospital who decide to buy sweets at the last minute for who they are coming to visit.

If I see certificates displayed about donating thousands of pounds - no bloody wonder!! At our expense.

They believe because it's for a good cause, you'll pay up. I never buy anything if I visit anyone apart from a cuppa! Mean old me!!

Sorry to say this but some Red Cross meetings are a bit like that as well-silly ticket prices for the `County Set` and some suckers pay thinking it`s for a good cause-been there ----once.Trot on Betty and hunt the fox.
