Duvet Day

Do you ever get the chance to have a duvet day, or a jammie day?

I'm having a jammie day as I've had two hectic days and nights so am sitting in my jammies, after a nice bubble bath and I ain't getting dressed today

Aaahhh, utter bliss

Well I must admit to doing very little today after an active day yesterday. But I have been dressed all day, couldn't sit around in jammies (even if I had any)

LT I'm happy to do it on a Sunday. Work tomorrow so it'll be back to square one!!

No never Chloe needs to go for her first walk early every morning so I have to get up and take her out.

Well said Meg. I'm very lucky in that I don't have a pet to take out. Well, not lucky, because I'd love a pet, but it would be difficult because I work all day and there's no one at home.

I can see me getting another guinea pig, or two

Spending the day in bed. Having breakfast in bed, watching tv, on the laptop in bed. Generally having a chill out day without getting up and getting your clothes on!!

I don't think I do that anyway after a lifetime of getting up early I don't 'feel right' unless I am up and dressed.

I always know when I'm"worn out" when I can have a day sitting in my pyjamas, doing as little as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen now and again. I was at a farm park on Friday during the day, a retiral on Friday night, up early to spend a hectic day in Edinburgh yesterday and didn't get home until 11 last night and this morning I felt as though I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards . So definitely a jammie day for me today to get my energy up for work tomorrow . I must admit I struggle to have an actual lie in. I waken early, but try to lie and rest. Wish I could be one of these people who just conks out!!
