Merry Christmas
It's the day before Christmas here in Portland, Oregon USA. The temperature is 29 degrees F and there's a bit of fog outside. They have something called freezing fog here that covers everything, making it look like a light snowfall. It's quite beautiful as every blade of grass and every pine needle is coated. Very Christmasy.I will be going to work this morning for my 12 hour shift at Intel Corp. I never cease to thank God for taking care of me by providing for my needs. I'm blessed that I have a warm place to live, plenty to eat and all my medical needs are met. There's little stress in my life as I continue to prepare for retirement.
I'm heading with a friend tomorrow to his parents home for the holiday. I've been doing that for the previous three years since moving to the Pacific Northwest. So, I won't be alone for Christmas. My family is 3,000 miles away in South Carolina but still remain in my heart.
I'd like to take the time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Keep Christ in Christmas!
