Town criers !!!

They drive me nanas
Why do we still have them ?
I don't like 'loud' people and there's no need for them now - its daft ......
Had to put up with a woman this morning on the radio, shouting away there, putting her on every half hour !
Yes I switched off ......

I haven't seen many recently but then I don't go out much
They do have one at the Victorian Chrismas market and they seem quite appropriate there...

Yes I suppose a Victorian affair is acceptable, I'd have to wear ear muffs though, although me hearing is not so good now, I'd still need them

Thankfully we are spared town criers over here Patsy, how would you fancy swapping for a couple of hundred screaming seagulls in the mornings? Hear ye hear ye.

We have our fair share of the blighters - they're not me favourite bird - the reason for that is its like they're auditioning for Alfred Hitchcock ! 'The Birds'
