Addicted, sort of
On my pad, I have a card playing app with 75 games. I started off playing the odd game before sleep. But then it became that I had to win a certain game, then certain two games. Then I found my 'favourite' games list became longer and longer, so there were more I had to win. Some are easier to complete than others so there are a couple I go to, to ensure I eventually sleep.BUT
Last night I tried the 'clock' solitaire which I used to love playing for real but was always such a faff to deal out, but now just 'touch and slide'. And I ended up playing for over an hour! I was yawning those jaw-breaking yawns that make your eyes water, but kept on going.
Excuse me, I think I hear the siren song of cards being shuffled and dealt
