Found this Adder in the grass, stayed well back they have a nasty bite.

When I took the children for a picnic on the hills the other day another walker had found a real one. There is quite a population on the Malverns.

Thanks both of you, been out this morning and it looks like my camera has gone to camera heaven, wont be able to replace it so my photography days are numbered.

I think you said you don't have a TV? The content of your photographs is up to the standard of the Countryfile photographic competition.
