Happy Sunday Folk.

We're back from our holiday in the Italian Alps. It was a beautiful area as you can see but there was very little for the likes of us to do there, it was more for seasoned mountain walkers. We did go up the mountains ...........by gondola ! The food in our hotel was the best I've ever had and there was as much wine as you wanted with the evening meal, a packed lunch and cake and a hot drink at 4pm were provided. Uncle Joe, you would have been a very happy man there. The downside was that we only had 2 good days of sun, the rest were either mixed or very wet.

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Good morning to everyone on another beautiful sunny morning here in Sherwood.

Still playing catch up in the garden after our week away, I'm never ceased to be amazed at the fact that things grow twice as fast when you are not actually watching.....

Welcome back Alan, good to see you back on duty after your travels.

Enjoy your day folks.

Welcome back Alan.
And what a gorgeous picture.
I could handle sitting there watching the young ones while sipping on a glass of wine! Very easily!
Have a great day all.

Yes Alan matey, 30 odd years ago you would have been right, the Dolomites (part of the Italian Alps) are wonderful to climb, BUT sadly my climbing days are now past as neither my hips or knees would bear the strain. Beautiful picture though. Enlarge and frame it and hang it somewhere.

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Morning all.

Welcome back Alan, and may I say what a gorgeous view that is! Yes, that is quite true of gardens, which is why I'm not going away again till the growing season is over.

And of course welcome back Barry, but we've already spoken. Glad you all had a good time.

Niece returned from holiday yesterday and immediately set about uploading all her photos (321) on Facebook. I went to bed before she'd finished, but it looked very very nice and well worth all the hassle and bother of going. They all looked very happy and as though they enjoyed themselves.

Envious...

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Good morning fellow members what a beautiful place that looks Alan

I am just getting used to the peace and quiet after a week of noise with the three little ones.
There is so much to catch up on. I noticed the beans have a bit of black fly so I am off to spray them with fairy liquid..

Have a good day everyone
