Early in the computer dating age I joined dateline, they send you 6 contacts that are supposed to suit you, first one nearly put me off dating for life. He obviously never told the company he was related rather closely to a great ape ! No table manners and belched after everything he ate !Luckily 2nd contact was my lovely man so I am sure the first must have been a computer mistake !

My two sons were in their early teens when I got divorced. Wanting to be open with them I explained that as a single woman I might be asked out on dates. No problem with that but they made me promise to introduce them to any man I was dating, to which I agreed.Some time later I was asked out and keeping my promise invited my date round to meet the boys. To my horror, the poor fellow had hardly walked through the front door before he was confronted by two teenagers who demanded to know whether his intentions towards me were honourable! If they weren't the pair of them would duff him up!
I've never been so embarrassed in my life!
