What OLD Sayings annoy you......

When someone says ...A bad workman always blames his tools...it annoys me!! because...the saying started off many years ago...and has got a bit muddled..The correct saying is ..A bad workman will never find a good tool...which makes a lot more sense ...

'Smile it may never happen' - really wipes the smile off my face, its only been said to me once when I was a teenager and my nan had passed on. This was said by a complete stranger as I walked home ....
I've heard it said to other people - I cant stand it !

Cheer up no one died, really gets to me when the sayer has no idea what is going on in another's life.
