Thanks, I'll try that. I buy maincrop tatties in 25kg bags and sprouting can be a problem in spring. Only buy earlies in smaller bags, so not a problem with thwm.

I have never heard of that before, thank you Jean. Like Patsy I tend to eat them before they have chance to sprout - but will remember your tip.

i keep my spuds in the fridge and they never sprout they just go fast asleep☺
