A walk with my Dog - 25th June

Although there were some really annoying aspects to my day, this lovely walk I had with m'dog wasn't one of them!

Re: A walk with my Dog - 25th June

Absolutely nothing like a walk with the dog to lift one's spirits and your dog is beautiful and your walk looks lovely. I take out half of my dog's dinner and get him to chase after bits of kibble. He's not good with other dogs so we have to avoid them and throwing bits of food keeps his focus on me and sniffing the ground.

I've just come back from walking my boy but I took a tumble on some uneven undergrowth - the tractors were busy ploughing the neighbouring field, I'm not sure if they saw me or not they certainly didn't rush over to find out if I was ok. I'm now currently nursing an extremely swollen ankle!

Thanks Meg, EZr, and Eliza. Thanks Baxter also, and I do hope you are remembering to put ice on that ankle and keep it elevated. Hope its a liitle better tomorrow.

As for Troje, it was once we got back into the car that a realised the naughty old sod had rolled in something nasty.. deer poop I think. He is a proper little scamp and no mistake 😸

Lovely scenery Margoletta, that would be my choice of walk too.

Your first photo is enhanced by your lovely dog

Thanks AlanC .. I think the last photo might be something I will paint.

Thanks Mags, I love him to bits. He is about 13 years old, but still a little villain..

Ah, what a grand age he is. He sure doesn't look it!
Beautiful pictures. I can understand how taking your little man for a walk there would completely change your mood!
