Shipping cost £4.99

This is the progress (or lack of it ) of my parcel to date ...

Re: Parcel Force

I can understand your bewilderment, Megs.

I have a similar gripe, with one of Amazon's sellers (UK based). The order was due to arrive here June 26 - 20 and was displayed as 'dispatched'. However, the delivery date has now shifted to the end of this week, so they must be sending it via Hong Kong or somewhere equally remote!

Unfortunately, no tracking info available............

Gwyn I no longer take all Amazon sellers despatch dates seriously.
I ordered a gift my grandsons birthday,
..the next day it was marked as 'dispatched',
.. almost a week later the seller contacted me to say the only remaining stock was damaged and they were waiting for new stock to arrive so how could it possibly have been dispatched?

I requested an immediate refund and left damming feedback.

Re: Parcel Force

I have to say that generally speaking Australia Post and the private Courier services here do a pretty good job at a reasonable price considering the size of the country.

It was a bit much recently when Australia post put its parcel service prices up and claiming it was "due to public demand" on the up side they are increasing parcel deliveries to 6 days a week at the end of this year.

As a pensioner I am entitled to 50 concession stamps at 60c (30p) each to post a letter to anywhere in Australia (instead of 70c or 35p). No, can't complain that to post a 125gm letter up to 3000km is only 60 or 70 cents and using a postpak a 5kg parcel is only about $16 (£8) (however it would cost $32 or £16 if you wanted it there the next day)

Some of the parcel services are very good here Bruce the trouble is when someone else is sending the parcel to you there is not much you can do about it..
