Can you eat frozen yogurt?

I made some, and put a jar in the freezer to cool it quickly - but forgot about it

It's frozen - can I eat it? Or will it make me

Don't know about homemade, but as they sell frozen yoghurt in the US as a healthier form of ice cream I would have thought you would be ok.Not sure what happens if you try to thaw it first though...

You can buy frozen yogurt ice cream and my DIL mixes fresh fruit with yogurt and freezes it for the children.

They add cream to frozen yogurt to make it nicer but we often make our own by just freezing a fruit yogurt with a lolly stick stuck through the lid of the pot, makse a nice lickable ice cream.

We buy yogurt on sale & freeze it all the time, it's fine, just the texture may get a little lumpy. It grosses me out but my husband will eat it.

I freeze the plain stuff with fresh fruit all the time.
I also freeze some in ice cube trays for the dogs. They love it.
