Mountaineering snail

There's a large snail climbing up the outside of my upstairs bedroom window. Where does he think he's going d'you think?

I have a lot of snails in my garden as I feed them. They do that to
go to new land and food and have no idea of their whereabouts.
By the way Snails are hermaphrodites.
