Speckled Wood butterfly.



Tiny bug lying in wait.



Green Froghopper, these creat the Cukcoo spit on plants.



22-spot Ladybird (Psyllobora vigintiduopunctata) , apparently they feed on Mildew.

Thanks,must admit i got some strange looks from passing walkers, cant understand why. Sat on a folding stool with my camera and white stick, staring intently into a patch of nettles.perfectly normal behavior sez me.

Quite a few stopped and asked and were surprised as i started pointing out some of the subjects i was photographing.

Im not ower fond of wasps Lilac, they keep stinging me , but close up they are fascinating insects.
