Oh GAWD I really am incredibly cynical. I question everybody's motives - it's a horrible characteristic I think.

I agree, I used to innocently call it being suspicious but realized later it was being cynical.

There's always someone out there ready to take advantage of you if you're not being careful. A healthy dose of cynicism is ok.

The older I've become the more cynical I've become. I take very little at face value and very little is what it seems..take for example the "Up to 75% Off!" What a load of........!

Yes, for sure. Of course I'm glad for my intelligence (at times
but sometimes I wish I had that guileless stupid innocence of the bygone years
