Reasons For Editing

Who here actually leaves the reason in the box provided, for editing their post?

I never do. I've not been smacked for it yet though.

It's up to the user, or in the case of a Moderator - they will always leave a reason if the edit isn't obvious in the post. (Sometimes we edit inline, e.g "<mod edit: personal remark removed>")

Sometimes I leave the reason. Sometimes if it was really bad grammar or a stupid spelling mistake I am too embarrassed! LOL!

I do sometimes, usually these days I preview the post first so less likely to need to edit it.

Its usually a typo in my case, and i dont bother leaving a reason why.

I never noticed that AC, I'm always editing my posts for bad spelling or omitting words, didn't know you had to give a reason though, seems to me the reasons for editing it are obviously typing errors.

I think I have only edited once and that was because I had spelled something wrong. Didn't bother to leave a comment as I corrected it straight away.

I have edited or removed whole posts on occasion when I have reconsidered a contribution of mine.

I can be a bit too quick off the mark sometimes.
Sometimes pompous. Sometimes irrelevant

I've only edited because I have left a word out, I like my posts to be deliberately incoherent, not accidentally.

Just read back and noticed I typed Colman's with and e (Colemans), should I edit, or just let it go.
