If today were your last day?

Friends and family aside, how would you spend your last day if time, money and travel were no object?
I would breakfast on a terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany, spend the day on a ranch in Montana, followed by an evening Safari in Africa.

Re: If today were your last day?

Blimey that's a busy last day Linden

I would go sit on the beach in Barbados as that's where I had my 60th
and enjoyed it so much then to make it busy I would then be
back in Yorkshire to say goodbye to Leeds.

With the money I have nowadays it will probably be the latter and
I will just have to dream about going to Barbados

So many things I would do. Starting maybe with a trip down the Grand Canal in Venice..one of the most romantic places I've been to..apart from the crowds of tourists.

I would start with a sunrise, and finish with a sunset.

I would not have a bath, and probably wouldn't comment on here, depending on my physical condition, I'd probably ride my bicycle into the sunset, if it wasn't raining.

A long walk through the fields followed by a sumptuous meal
with a decent bottle of wine and a full orchestra playing my list of requests

Then to bed (alone ) in crisp white cotton sheets scented with lavender...

Re: If today were your last day?

A morning spent on a sunny beach with my grandchildren, looking into rock pools, having a paddle, making sand castles - if I could get down on my knees and then up again.

The afternoon and evening, sitting on the pergola with my best friend Wal .. drinking some red, looking at the garden and reminiscing about our life together.
