How to cut roast beef for sandwiches

What's the best way to cut beef (/meat) into thin slices for sandwiches?

Absolutely !
If its a small piece for sandwiches - a normal fork may be better, that's what I do. Cut the beef into sections, then slice a smaller bit .....

Thanks both - do you need to use a special kind of knife?

I wonder if they sell those meat slicing machines for regular consumers

Azz, take a look at the Meat slicers on Amazon, there are some good offers there at the moment

Thanks Mags - those Andrew James slicers look good - although cheaper on their own website once you add postage on Amazon

Bruce - I'd rather cook my own
