Washing Powder

I am fed up with the silly price of washing machine liquids.
I have just bought a small bottle of Persil, barely bigger than a toothpaste tube - £4.68. The larger bottles are over £6. It's hardly a luxury is it, we all have to wash things, but all the known brands are so dear now.
Which one do you use and is your expensive too?

That's worth knowing Julie, I'll look out for it. Is it powder or liquid?

I remember Daz because it always used to bring my mother's arms up in a rash if she handwashed anything.

It's a powder they do a liquid too but I have no idea of the price or how good it is.

Re: Washing Powder

I use Ariel liquid and only buy it when it is on offer @ two large bottles for £8 so £4 each (Waitrose). I have a good stock in the garage.

Re: Washing Powder

That's interesting. I've just come from Tesco this morning, but I'll have a look next time. Thanks.
