Bank Holiday Weekend

I know I'm a day late in starting this but there is still time left.

What are you all up to this bank holiday, anything fun or special?

Finishing decorating, making gingerbread men for the grandchildren and staying at home well away from people I hate bank holidays ...

Just getting Elsie out on a lead for the first time so little walks to get her used to it. Fitting the dog guard in the car tomorrow and working on the campervan.

Been unwell most of the day with a UTI so spent 3 hours asleep this afternoon after having been up all night. Nothing planned for the rest of the holiday apart from family coming round tomorrow afternoon.

Wish you well Stella.

My good friend has rung this evening asking if we could meet up tomorrow so it'll be coffee and cake, just after lunch. Was only at her place a week ago. Just as well we get on fabulously!

For Monday I would like to take myself off for the day. Not sure where yet. Might either get a cheap Natl Express coach, or load up the car with maps, satnav, coffee making facilities and a packed lunch, and find somewhere interesting.

Off to Clumber Park today for a long walk with the dogs and a picnic lunch. Going nowhere tomorrow as we can't stand the Bank holiday traffic and crowds...
