0020

We had a call from 0020 which was silent when we answered it.
Should I be worried?

It's a Singapore company if they speak to you they try to get access to your computer so don't give them the opportunity by just putting the phone down.

They are computers that randomly dial numbers until one works. This has been going on for years. You're never fully safe from nuisance callers

Is it really Julie? Isn't it awful when we're not even safe at home.

Whenever I see some strange # come through on the phone which I just ignore, I automatically look it up on google. Sure enough, whatever # came through to me is right there on the internet as a scam phone # with many queries & complaints.

Yes when I get a call I don't recognise I google the number several sites around give you the opportunity to check who has called, this one comes up a lot and has caused problems for quite a few people it seems.

When they rang me I just instantly called them liars as they reckoned I had a problem with my computer they could help me with, at that point I had been computer free for a fortnight and my brand new laptop was still in it's box so likelihood of them telling the truth was remote.
