Your Tongue

No, I'm not talking about watching your tongue, but do you brush it?

A tongue accumulates a lot of bacteria (coated tongue) & its a good idea to keep it clean as well as the choppers.

Re: Your Tongue

I must admit I don't I seem to have the most well developed gag reflex ever, just touching my tongue with a brush or scraper sends me gagging. So have to make do with cleaning the teeth and then just swilling the toothpaste mix around my mouth.

No one has ever complained so I think that has it covered LOL

Re: Your Tongue

Like you Julie darlin' I have a well developed gag reflex - my dentist scraping and cleaning my teeth can make me gag, so I use a mouth wash and rinse my tongue in that.

Re: Your Tongue

I do, when I remember it, and give my teeth a good scrape with the tool to get the plaque.

I gag too, but try to reach as far back as possible.

Re: Your Tongue

Yes Rachel, similar to one a dentist would use. End is curved and not sharp, ideal for scraping off the gunge without causing damage. Even reaches the back of molars. I always give it a good rinse and use kitchen towel to wipe bits off.

Might have found it in a pound shop. Don't get one with a sharp pointed end.

ETA. It's a Wisdom.
