Re: Buffet Breakfast

Years ago when my son was 6 I took him on holiday for the first time and we stayed in a large hotel in Exmouth. They did the most amazing buffet breakfasts

Porridge is enough for me these days..

No Ania darlin' - I didn't forget them, I omitted them because I don't like them - they're part of a salad and salads I regard as 'rabbit food'.

Re: Buffet Breakfast

Last time I had a big breakfast like that, was many years ago, on holiday on the Norfolk broads. We drove to a Little Chef and had one of their Olympian breakfasts!
If I remember, my daughter and I shared one
A piece of toast does me now.

Re: Buffet Breakfast

It's years since I had a fried breakfast, I can't face it now, not even when we are on holiday

Re: Buffet Breakfast

When I was on holiday in Cyprus a couple of years ago - hotel served buffet meals - you helped yourself. So, all on same plate I had: 1 Cheese omlette, 1 ham omlette, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 slices black pudding, 1 spoon of scrambled egg, 2 sausages, 1 spoon baked beans, 1 spoon mushrooms, and rounded it off with two waffles and maple syrup.
