Rehashing Topics

How would us new people know that a topic has been done to death in the past? Especially, some areas of the forum are pages long. Who has time to go through every topic that's been yakked about?

Very true AC, as well as that there is always some new take on old stuff and fresh views are always welcome by me anyway.

Re: Rehashing Topics

I wouldn't worry too much about it some of us do change our minds as time goes on and new fresh ideas from new members can well make me think differently so it's always worth raising a topic IMO.

Re: Rehashing Topics

Sometimes I think that rehashing topics would be a good idea. Might clear up past misunderstandings between posters.

Re: Rehashing Topics

Hi AC if a topic has been covered recently the Mods tend to merge the threads to avoid repetition otherwise the thread will remain .

That is true AC.
Also I don't see why an old thread cant be bumped up if the topic is 'new' to the person doing it.

What if you assume it is new to the new member but the new member is not a new member and Knew the post or thread previously?.

Maybe they should have added it in the first instance, instead of having a couple of months to think about it, and replying with a different face.
