What Makes You Colour Your Hair?

I dyed my hair for decades, usually out of boredom, wanting a change at the time. When I turned 50 over a year ago I got fed up & just went au naturel (hair that is )

I have been all colours under the sun over the years started when I was 15 with blue and pink hair, and toned down more recently to more natural colours. But when I was 49 I became allergic to many dyes so can't do it any more. Now have grey streaks which liven up my brown.

I have never dyed my hair but am now getting bits of grey at the sides but think I'll just grow old gracefully.

I've dyed mine since I was 13, been all colours blonde to brown to red but am now a natural brown, well as natural as I can be out of a carton!! I will NEVER give in and be grey unless, like Julie, I become allergic to the dye.

Hi Cranberry - you can get 'natural' alternatives, without the chemicals ....

Only coloured my hair half a dozen times when I was just starting to go grey,now ive got more grey at the sides i wont bother ,i think it looks good. And its more silver than grey .

I used to dye my hair when I was young starting in my teens because my stepmother hated my hair colour and never ceased to tell me so .

My hair is silver now and I haven't dyed it for about thirty years , I am happy with it as it is.

I slap a bit of 'Just For Men' on me hair now and then. Head full of white hair is just too 'in your face' for my liking. Put some on today in fact and give myself a trim too.
