If its not your own does that not breach copyright and leave the forum open to the law ?

Surely if it is somebody else's photo it should be properly acknowledged - I would see that equate to plagiarism. If it was one of my photos stolen off the internet I sure would be very upset.

By the way there is a photo put on everyday by Alan Cooke on the
daily post which Alan takes himself. Being in the USA you are probably
just in bed when Alan comes on at 5.30am English time to do his
Daily post and say hello with a lovely scenic photo.

Hi Bowie eyes, if my memory serves me right it was a two year old , and i thought it would win the class it was in ,,it glowed and was neatly turned out ,not one of the biggest in that line up but it did catch my eye ..
I shall put another photo up tomorrow if this thread is still here ,.

Pinching someone else's photos and posting them elsewhere is a very dark and grey area. Yes, you can acknowledge origin and/or owner, but wouldn't this be a better thread by retitling it "Find a nice photo you have taken and post it each day"? After all, looking at some photo entries on here, it shouldn't be hard.

You can find photo's all over the internet that are free to take ,
mostof the ones I get are from my emails, a friend sends them to me all the time.
