Movies From The Golden Age of Hollywood

My husband & I don't have much time for watching anything but most favourites are from the 30's -50's.

The Thin Man series of movies were excellent, just love William Powell in movies.

I liked the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies. I know of William Powell but cant remember much about his movies.
I think the fact they are all in black and white puts people off nowadays. I know that my Grandkids wont watch movies that are b and w.
My favourite b and w films are James Stewart in Harvey and another
one is Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn in Bringing up Baby.
Both hilarious films.

Bette Davis, Margaret Rutherford, Joan Crawford, Lilian Gish, Myrna Loy, June Alyson, Robert Montgomery, Jay Silver heels, James Stewart, so many more - they really are not as good any more IMO.

Love the old movies Autumn, not keen on recent films at all, although some TV movies are very good with fab 'not known' actors.
