Went and did a bit of painting for my son yesterday.........same again today.

Busy day with my Granddaughter Elizabeth. Went to a play scheme yesterday and she really enjoyed it. She is full of energy so the 2 hours
constant running around and sliding all over. It certainly helped me
I had a Latte and sat and read a paper and watched her running all over
a very tall frame work of slides etc. It must have been over 20feet tall.
Luckily its got netting all over it so no falling children in that respect.
Going again today and for the price of £2 for 2 hours you cant go wrong.

Morning. Yes, I've only just got up, though I have had my first hot drink and first tablets while still in bed. I set up a coffee making station by my bed last night - travel kettle, flask of water, coffee, mug and a miniature milk - so when I woke up all I had to do was fill the kettle, and switch on! Just like being on holiday.

Yeah, laziness! But who carees, eh?

Nothing planned for daytime, but at a meeting this evening. Bit chilly at the moment, so not sure what to do today.

The sun is shining here and I'm feeling so energetic I think I'll wash the car after lunch then do some tidying up in the garden. No need to worry about meals as this morning I made chicken soup and there's some cold lamb left over from last night which I'll have tonight with a salad.

I think spring is finally springing over here!

Jazzi - For years now I have had a filter coffee machine by my bed and wouldn't be without it. Wake up, switch it on, roll over for a snooze until it's ready. Couldn't get out of bed without my first cup of coffee already inside me!

Dull and misty here and quite cool, but I hope to continue the digging in the garden. Managed quite a lot so far this week and a friend has been chopping up my fallen tree so I have lots of wood in my garage for next year
