Is there such a thing as cookery classes!?

You have yoga classes, keep-fit classes, self-defence classes - all sorts! So are there any cookery classes? I'd love to learn to cook properly I am so rubbish at it

There used to be Azz - but the local authority adult education classes have been cut to the bone and are also very expensive now. I would imagine they could be quite fun!
There are private holiday/cooking course affairs but I don't know if there are any basic ones or whether they are more specialised/advanced. Nice way to spend a holiday!
Surely a DVD is what you need? Delia on a disc? I think she is your best bet - she did a TV series literally starting with how to boil an egg.
If I lived closer I'd swap you kitchen skills for computer skills lessons!

EDIT: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss...+cook&x=8&y=22 There you go - Delia Smith How to Cook .... but it's on VHS Can you transfer?

Follow the TV chefs Azz, . . one that put me right off was Keith Floyd, (bless him), . . he used to throw everything in the pot, . .he called it rustic cooking.

Azz, if you signed up for classes, I think you would end up teaching them your detox diet after a couple of weeks!

Thanks all!

Mags - that's why I want to learn - so I can make something half-decent with my limited ingredients
