I'm a silly billy

Yesterday, me and nurse GIllian got our dentures mixed up . It wasnt until the afternoon when we were both most uncomfortable, that we realised what we had done
It's an easy mistake to happen as we keep them both together overnight soaking in Steradent..

Yes, wondering why I couldn't see properly the other week.
I'd got my contacts in the wrong eyes.

I can beat that Joy - tried contacts in the 80s - had put one in, the phone rang, went back to the contact put it in, thought .... funny ..... things don't look quite right ta me - well they wouldn't - two in one eye !

I shudder at the thought of putting anything in my eyes.

I've done a lot of silly things in my lifetime, haven't we all.
I went up to the pub one lunchtime wearing slippers, you might think thats not too bad, but they were the wife's as I couldn't find my own I had slipped them on earlier, they were blue and had little pink Elephants on them, I was wearing a suit, collar and tie, I just stayed in a corner and asked the barmaid to ring the wife and ask her to bring up me shoes, when she arrived she held them out in front of everyone "Here's your shoes Jimmy, can I have my slippers back?" she likes her little jokes. Boy did the lads have a good laugh that day, took me ages to live that one down.
