Random thoughts

I was pairing socks this morning and got to wondering how many hours, days, weeks I've spent doing this over the years. I had to stop myself going on to all the other trivial chores we all do. They could add up to longer than I've actually lived!

Re: Random thoughts

My son and daughter in law don't bother with such things as pairing socks, they say life is to short . They have a wicker hamper that all their socks go in to and they just grab a pair at random when needed. Consequently they share socks and rarely have a pair which match but are never left with odd ones

Re: Random thoughts

Do as my wife does Moira and bung 'em on the beds for the wearers to sort out.

Re: Random thoughts

They have a point there Meg - anything goes these days, you can wear odd socks, and no one would think any more on it ....

Especially if you wore odd gloves at the same time. Come to think of it, what about odd shoes as well, that would make a nice 'odd' outfit.

It's just over 2 years since my husband died and I THINK I've managed to get rid of all his socks now
