Tie-Break Poll (Jan'14 Comp) - "Favourite Things (Still Life)

We have two winners in the January competition, so we will have a Tie Break Poll to decide who will have the opportunity to choose the theme for the February competition.

Please dont vote for me as my vote for Myth and Magic was unrecorded, and her photo was more representative of the original topic.

Nice of you to say that, Nom. But your photo is technically the best. Having said that, it seems to me that technique doesn't really matter in these competitions as people seem to vote for "pretty" whatever the subject!

Shouldn't that be how it should be Orangutan........people should vote for what appeals to them the most.

I voted for Number 2, for two reasons. I like the use of contrasting colour against a black background and the fact it is technically a better picture than Number 1.

It would have been a harder choice if Pic 1 was in focus.

Sorry about my picture not being technically good but me and my little camera just snaps things we like.

Graham, I was being hartistic and focusing on the gloves, you must admit it is a demned good picture of the mud.
