Happy Friday Folk.

Taken in the Botanical Gardens in Funchal, Madeira.
What a gloomy day it was yesterday, dull and drizzly all day long. Still, it's the last day of January today.

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

Morning everyone, milder here today but very wet later apparently.

On the Tesco run first thing and then we'll walk the dogs before the rain begins.

Enjoy the day folks.

Still very dark, but there are no rain drops on the windows, so it must be dry for the moment, however the clouds are reflecting the street and other lights and it is possible to see that they are heavy and loaded with water vapour (rain). I'm getting really p***ed off with alll this rain and wind!!!

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

Good morning everyone. Nice to see some flowers Alan, not one in my garden at the moment.
I know when the weather is bad when I forget how many storms we have been through in the last 3 months. One today and then another big one on Sunday. When will it end??
I am going out soon too before the next rain due about 12pm and going to feed the birds. I didn't have a lot of food for them yesterday so left some looking at me as if to say Hoy where is our food
So got some more today and put my spuds, carrots and chicken from last nights meal in with some cat food and some crunchie munches so plenty
to eat for them today.
I agree with you UJ it is depressing to see all this rain nearly everyday. Don't think they get this in the tropical forests.
Hope everyone has a nice day no matter what you are doing. Take care and thank goodness for who ever invented wellies.
Had to laugh then as quite obviously the spell checker is American and not English. They don't know what wellies are and put something with an I in it instead. Made me laugh anyway.

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

Good morning fellow members it hasn't really got light properly here this morning . I should have been doing the shopping but after a bad night due to a chest infection I couldn't make myself get up in the dark and plough through the mud with Chloe in order to be in Waitrose early.

A fresh batch of fresh yeast arrived yesterday so I may stay home and make bread and shop tomorrow.

Enjoy your day everyone

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

Morning folks, woke this morning to the strident sounds of "Teacher Teacher", the local Great tits seem to think its spring. A bit of drawing on the cards, and i will be keeping an eye out to see if the tight fisted owner of my local football club, will splash some cash and get some players in before deadline time this evening.
