Re: Mr. Selfridge

Lots to watch tonight, didn't see much of the last series, think it was on the same time as something else & don't have anyway to record. Enjoyed it, especially the costumes! What with The Musketeers, this & Call the Midwife, they say thing come in 3s!

I like Mr. Selfridge but liked The Paradise better. Call the midwives an all time favourite.

I really enjoyed last night's Call the Midwife - I was praying that the baby would be white

Not watched Mr Selfridge yet but I'm sure I'll enjoy that too

Wasn't it an awful predicament that poor woman found herself in? Dreadful husband, no wonder she sought affection from someone else! Wonder what would happen today?

Re: Mr. Selfridge

I started to watch the last series, mainly because I wanted to see Corrie's Becky in another role, but I gave up on it. I found him intensely irritating for some reason. Maybe I should try again.

Re: Mr. Selfridge

No matter how 'posh' Corrie's Becky tries to be, she does not come over as any different and I still think of her as Becky - it takes more than a change of dress to become a 'lady'
