Letter to the Editor
Bit late this one but I've only just seen it!
The front page of issue 1355 had a scene from The House of Commons but with pantomime catch-phrases.
A letter to the Editor.
Sir,
Your cover to issue 1355 is deeply offensive to those selflessly giving their lives to a profession vital to the survival of this country.
Can we please nip this association of 'politics' and 'pantomime' in the bud?
One of these is a performance of ridiculous characters following nonsensical plots, displaying outrageous behaviour and generally making complete fools of themselves.
The other is a vital and vibrant part of the theatrical education of the nation's children.
Yours, behind you,
Richard Lamming,Teignmouth.
