Re: Phil Everly

RIP Phil. Used to love their music in the 50's. They inspired other musicians
like the Beatles, BeeGees etc.
Phil would have been 75 in two weeks time.
My fav song was Dream.

Re: Phil Everly

The very first record I ever bought - with a friend - was Cathy's Clown by the Everly Brothers.

We knew all the words by heart too but I didn't have access to a record player, my friend did but we had to club together to buy it!
I was about 9 I think.

Life seemed so simple then too. stevmk2

Re: Phil Everly

RIP Phil

I love there music, in fact I've had a CD of theirs tuned in to my sleep pillow for the past few weeks so it will be a poignant reminder now...
