New Years Prayer.

Right lets get this new year started going to turn over a new leaf and say a little prayer to start with.

New Year's Day Prayer for One and All

Dear God

So far this year I've done well.

I haven't gossiped, I haven't lost my temper, I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, overindulgent, or racist.
I'm very thankful for that.
But in a few minutes, God, I'm going to get out of bed, and from then on I'm probably going to need a lot more help.

Amen

I think we're all a bit like that. Wonder does Adam ask Eve to turn over a new leaf every new year, probably every night.

Re: New Years Prayer.

An interesting question I always wanted to know the answer to is, how long does a grass skirt last for before it just drops off?, also does one have to wear grass knickers underneath?, I imagine it would be very uncomfortable, what with grasshoppers and all, when a bit of grass gets into my shirt in the garden it drives me mad till I get it out, I am innocent of this type of thing but curious all the same, as me granny used to say "Shy but willing, like a Jackass eating thistles."

Well Jem, I would say they are not for everyday use now, I agree tho' - even a short time in one of those, would not appeal ta me ! Especially now you mention grasshoppers - eeeeoooooow
