Good morning everyone, howling wind here last night as well, with rain lashing at the windows for a few hours...
A quiet day for us today, just relaxing awhile before making preparations tomorrow for yet more family visiting on Sunday.... we've not finished the leftovers from the last lot yet..

Good morning everyone. Ditto to the being awake half the night. Could hear a door banging on and off all night. In the end listened to the cricket from Australia on 5LIVE. In the end my Countyman Geoff Boycott put me to sleep for awhile. He thinks he knows it allHavent decided what I am doing yet. Don't want to get hit by flying debris so may or may not go out. Says it will not be as strong after about 1pm.

buenas dias all. A lovely sunny day here (so far), the wind of yesterday seems to have gone and the sky is blue. Some kind of normality has (hopefully) returned after 3 days of Christmas dinners and visits, so a brief respite now until January 5/6 when the Spanish celebrate their Christmas...never a dull moment it seems. I'm not planning on doing much today, maybe a walk round the boulevard shopping centre to see what's going in the sales. Have a good day everyone.27-12-2013, 10:56 AM

It wasn't the wind that kept me awake, just me being an insomniac. But from what I read here, most of you have had a disturbed night.Wind has died down but still looks chilly out. I only want a paper.
My little sis and niece went to the sales yesterday at Stratford Westfield and only lasted 2 hours. Sis got pushed over into a child's buggy (she's ok). Both said never ever again, it was madness!!! Glad I didn't think about it. Why do people put themselves through that?
