What are you having for Christmas dinner?

Based on a "poll" out today only 41% of people in the UK will be having Turkey for Christmas dinner...apparently, Lamb beef and goose are high on the list...I understand the goose...but just wondered what you are having...its turkey here...gobble gobble.

Hah! I was going to ask the same question! Thought of it as I was dog-walking this morning but, inevitably, forgot

Well, we're going out to a hotel for lunch on my birthday on 25th and if I remember correctly we've ordered fillet steak. However, I have a goose on order from my butcher, to be collected xmas eve. I'm not sure when I'll cook it, as I think veggie son will be here xmas night and boxing day. Maybe the next day - I think that's a Sunday so that could work well

We're spending Christmas Day at our daughter's this year and will be having turkey with full trimmings.

They will come to us on New Year's Day and I will be cooking my turkey then.

MM, have you ever made Delia's parsnip roulade with parmesan with sage and onion stuffing?
I thought I might do it for our xmas supper (after lunch out!) and son's main xmas meal

Turkey here - we love it, especially cold with pickles.
Just a thought - when I have veggie friends over I provide them a veggie meal. So why won`t they cook me non-veggie food when I go there?

That's the best thing about cooking on Christmas Day, I'm not allowed to do any washing up either!

Ha! When you live alone you're not only the chief cook but the bottle-washer too!
