I've had that problem with other, past, forums, one of which shall remain nameless!!!! Past, not present...

Should have closed your browser completely ( or deleted browser cookies and files ) and retried. Probably caused by files and settings being remembered from the old server as in 'cached'.

I never sign in and out.....it's easier to use the 'remember me' option.
