Happy Monday Folk.

Taken at Ross on Wye.
Went a nice walk around a local country park yesterday, but it's starting to get muddy now after all the rain we've had lately.

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good morning Alan and all to arrive yet. Wet and windy day again. Not as bad as those poor people in the Philippines. We live in a great place when you consider their woes.
Hope everyone has a nice day and take care.
Lovely English looking photo Alan.

Mornin' All

Lovely picture Alan.

It's rainy and miserable here in West Berkshire, I'm just staying in the warm with the dog.

Have a lovely day everyone

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

buenas dias all. Another bright sunny morning here, it was very windy during the night though, but no wind this morning. My friend and neighbour from across the road is going to the Philippines next Monday to visit her family for 3 weeks. I know Vicky has been in contact with them and I understand they are all okay, they live quite a long way away from where the worst of the typhoon was, but she still has to fly into Manila so how things will go from there I don't know. It really is a dreadful catastrophe and I believe now there are great concerns about landslides due to all the rain. I have a lot of jobs to deal with today and more than enough running around. Have a good day all.

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good morning everyone, thoroughly wet and miserable here as well, and no forecast of a let up today...

Just finished my chores and having a minute before I go to prepare lunch. Meat pie and mash today, yum yum...

Many thanks to you all for sending your best wishes to my Mum, 85 years old and just had a shoulder replacement... and they say there is ageism in the NHS, not around here there isn't...

Have a great day folks,

Barry

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good morning, dull but mild today.
Went out early to post a card and had some breakfast out too. We brought back a couple of newspapers, The Independent has a good double spread of puzzles, so I know what I'll be doing today

I'm still wading through shredding of years of papers, old bills and statements The machine over heats, so I am forced to stop for coffee
We intend making bricks for the fire, from the shreddings.

Have a good day everyone.
