Elvis Presley
What do you think about this "Favourite Elvis Song" on telly tonight? One and a half hours!I never rated him that much when I was young, let alone all these years afterwards. No doubt alot of todays youngsters have never heard of him even, let alone be voting for his best song.
Perhaps I'm just getting old and miserable - one of me "Mrs.Meldrew" days.

My daughter's 18 & loves Elvis, but then she likes lots of "retro" music. I liked him in the 70's but that's about all, I suppose he was the first of his kind and started a new trend, which was shocking at the time. I suppose they're trying to appeal to the aging population bringing out programs like this, just like "The Good Old Days" & "minstrels" did when we were young.

I get fed up with everyone trying to resurrect Abba as well !
AND another thing while I'm having a moan - I can't for the life of me understand these middle aged, adult males, who dress in satin and dye their hair and do these "tribute" acts of Elvis (or other famous stars from the past).
