Soaps

Who watches the soaps on tv and which one is your favourite? My favourite is Emmerdale - don't watch Eastenders, can't stand it.

Re: Soaps

I only watch Coronation Street and am hopelessly 'addicted' to it. I don't watch any others (although I have tried, they just didn't appeal).

And I preferred it when all other tv scheduling (including football) was arranged around the times that Coronation Street was on

I am hopelessly addicted to Emmerdale. If I have to be out when it's on, I have to record it. Sad soul that I am.

Re: Soaps

My one and only soap is Corrie. Watched it from the beginning so will never give up on it, even though some of the storylines go on and on forever.

I have never seen an episode of Eastenders. I know that I would enjoy Emmerdale but have never got into the habit of watching it.

Re: Soaps

Emmerdale is my one and only, Eastenders is too violent & depressing and Corrie started going the same way.

Re: Soaps

Agree about Eastenders Twizzard, too much violence and arguing and so depressing. I do like Corrie too.

Re: Soaps

Coronation Street has always been my No 1 soap. I do watch Eastenders but agree it has no comparison with Corrie.

I've never watched Emmerdale or any of the other Soaps...
