Its been on our news here in England. It looks terrible and I keep wondering where they are getting the water from? Terrible to see
your house go up in flames. I hope they got their photos out as
apart from my 3 cats my pc and photos would be definitely the
first things I took out and put in the car.

Helicopters are flying over dams they drop down a long flexible pipe ,pump up the water & then dump it on the fire. There is also fixed wing aircraft which land then fill up with water & retardant then fly off & dump their load.

I looked at all the fire pictures, some pictures are repeated 2 or more times and are from many old fires. Still a shocking sight...Hopr all goes well and the fire there now gets under control really soon...hugs, Shirley
