I'm not sure what to make of it really. They are very clever and agile but I feel a bit uncomfortable with them being so young. They must spend hours and hours practicing so do they have any normal playtime? They do seem to be enjoying it though.

I have to admit I lookeed at this thread with great interestat seeing a woman speechless, It's a brilliant oxymoron.Of course , it was just a ruse to get us hooked.
AS FOR the children, they have had their childhood stolen from them by pushy parents. They should be outdoors playing games in the fresh air, chasing each other, eating toffee apples & scrumping.....poor mites.
They were'nt even entertaining.........

Both of my granddaughters went to dance classes and they loved it (both girls were painfully shy outside of the home and my daughter hoped it would help build confidence in them) - if I remember correctly, it's all about finding your centre of gravity. Both girls went on to be very athletic. Both played football and netball for local teams and have represented the Island in various sports. Some children like being active and as long as it isn't a case of pushy parents reliving their lives through their children, it doesn't do any harm (and as long as the teacher knows what they're doing!).|
