Dress to tease....

Yesterday while walking around the lake I passed an old lady (late 50's to middle 60's) With an even older chap, I could tell by the body lanaguge they were not married (but that was just a guess)
She was slim ... but very wrinkly hair like candyfloss bleached to its bones and teased up, very short skirt and very low top showing more body between to two than I wanted to look at......
Is there any one here who dresses like that and if so why ? Im not judging as people can dress as they like
But do they not see the people in thier wake sniggering and do they really think they look nice ? Is it just to attaract a man ...any man ?
I cant talk Im an old frump most of my clothes are gardening clothes that I wear for comfort only so im sure people also snigger at the old frump ...
Is it just me ?

Re: Dress to tease....

I went through a stage after my breast cancer where I was so happy to have breasts I dressed as much to show them off as anything else, but never short skirts I always think bare one or the other but never show everything at once.

Cover up more these days but I have no problem with anyone else showing a bit of skin really.

Hair is long and curly, bit frizzier now the grey is coming in, did flirt with the idea of having it cut but what with one thing and another getting in the way decided the universe isn't ready for that yet so mine is often up in various messy buns or pony tails. Plaited when at home to keep it out of the way.

I dress nice, pretty .... never show me 'bits' .....
I dont like that at all - men or women.
As for understanding it - I dont ! A decent man will want his lady looking nice for him, not showing her bits in public ....

Re: Dress to tease....

I haven't got the figure to dress like that but, if I had, that would not be for me. I enjoyed that sort of thing back in the 60/70s but not today.

I don't consider myself a frump but do like comfort rather than fashion. I relax at home in comfortable trousers and t shirts.

I cannot bear anything up around my neck much preferring V necks or lower cut tops.

So I suppose I am considered something in between. Not mutton dressed as lamb or a frump either.

Pats please just leave it, I respect my husband he is a decent man he just has no say in what I wear and I don't tell him what to wear either. Neither of us are disrespectful or indecent.

Re: Dress to tease....

I used to wear mini-skirts when I was younger but now go for comfort but it doesn't bother me if I see older ladies being dressed the way you describe; as long as she isn't showing more than is decent, and it makes her and her chap happy, let them get on with it! Who says that fashion is only for the young
