Good morning folks.Well, my intention to have a long-lie did not work, because I awoke half an hour ago to somebody knocking on my door to tell me that my car (which is actually one that I purchased for restoring and is currently far from road-worthy, which even the untrained eye could see) tyre was flat. Well eff me, I'm hardly going to be driving the bloody thing am I? Some people.
Anyway, I couldn't get back off to sleep after that so decided to stick the kettle on for a cup of Tetley and fire up the laptop to see what you lot are up to.
One good thing about getting up early-ish is that I can see it is a fantastic day weather-wise and I might even get out and do something, rather than sitting in the house whilst the rain batters the roof.
The Royal Mail van has just drawn up outside my house, so I had better post this before he comes to the door. The postie used to just put a letter or two through the door in the mornings, but since the wife has started online shopping he's been coming with parcels daily. I must admit however, I am not entirely blameless, what with my record collecting, or "hoarding" as the wife calls it.
