60's for me too but wouldn't like to be as shy as I was then.

Re: favourite decade

I was in my teens in the early 60's and it was great. The clothes, hairstyles, music (went to see the Beatles), and dancing - remember "the Twist"?
Mum bought me one of those big stiff multi-layered petticoats for my 13th birthday, but I had a bit of an accident and scalded one thigh pretty badly and was so upset that I couldn't wear my posh petticoat because the stiff netting scratched the poorly skin.
I met the man who was to be my first husband in 1963, and we were married in 1966 and my son was born in 1968, so yes, it was a very memorable decade for me.

Just replied about this in Mod, Rocker or Hippy.

Two threads about the same thing.
