Mod, Rocker or Hippy ?

At work today the subject came up of whether some of the regulars were Mods or Rockers!! The things I come out with!!

I was recalling how I used to hang out with the Mods, the lads with the scooters that were all decked out with aerials and flags and the lads wore the long parkers.

The majority of them said they were Rockers with their motorbikes.

What were you in the 60s or didn't you bother?

We had a Lambretta in the 1960s. I wore knee length white boots too and a mini skirt.

Oh yes I remember the mini skirts and white long boots.
I also remember going to buy my first bell bottom trousers which had a tartan pattern on them. I felt the bees knees and had a short haircut, a bit like Twiggy.

Had to wear 'corporate clothing' (aka Uniform) as work - so went rebelliously hippy when off duty - long skirts, granny print dresses, flower power stuff. Have to admit I still like floaty and feminine stuff!
